Job Overview
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior QA Automation Engineer to join our quality engineering team. You will work alongside experienced automation engineers, developers and product managers to help build and maintain a reliable, scalable automation suite. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their career who is passionate about quality, automation tooling and eager to grow in a fast-paced product environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Learn and apply AI-driven testing techniques including self-healing tests and automated test generation
  • Stay curious about emerging tools and approaches that improve automation efficiency
  • Develop and maintain automation scripts that execute efficiently with minimal flaky tests
  • Support optimised test design and contribute to improving overall suite stability and reliability
  • Write automated tests covering positive, negative and edge case scenarios for assigned features
  • Ensure test coverage is traceable to sprint objectives and business requirements
  • Follow modular, reusable coding practices and adhere to established framework standards
  • Support shift-left practices by running automated checks at development and pre-merge stages
  • Contribute to reducing manual testing dependency through reusable automation solutions
  • Report on test results, flaky tests and pipeline health in a transparent and timely manner

Skills and Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • 1 to 1.5 years of hands-on QA automation experience
  • Familiarity with one or more automation frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, Selenium or Appium
  • Basic understanding of mobile test automation (Appium or similar)
  • Exposure to API testing tools such as Postman or RestAssured
  • Basic knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript or any scripting language
  • Familiarity with Agile / Scrum methodology
  • Willingness to learn CI/CD integration and shift-left testing practices
  •  Genuine curiosity about AI-driven testing and emerging automation technologies
Nice to Have
  • Any exposure to CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions or Jenkins
  • Basic understanding of version control with Git
  • Interest in Generative AI or Agentic AI testing approaches
